So does 90% of everything else you buy these days. Remember that Arab gas you put in that Mexican made GM?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    There's nothing "American Made" anymore.

It maybe "Assembled in the US" but not made. All the components are "made" in third world sweat shops or countries who dont operate under "American Made" environmental restrictions.

Ford and GM are cucks to the unions who are socialists by definition.

My grandfather killed japs in WWII. I've got the sidearm he used to kill them. He HATED the japanese. That said, I love America more and wont put a dime in the pocket of a union, or union labor if I can help it.

I buy whatever is most economical and best quality product for what I need. Regardless whether it is made in America, Bangledesh, Tiawan, I don't give a rip.

I have to use what I buy everyday and if it serves it's purpose well, I don't care who what when or where it was made.

My little penny isn't going to change anything in the grand scheme of things by buying only made in America; I have no need to prove my pride by buying that way.

Not what I said at all.

If the American product is better and more economical than the Foreign product I’ll buy it. If a foreign product is superior to an American I’ll buy that one.

    It’s pretty simple.

Working in manufacturing on the materials side most of my professional career, there really isnt anything "made in the USA". It may be assembled here, but the components are made in some third world sweat shop or any number of countries not encumbered by the EPA or encumbered by an oppressive tax rate.

    To my point:

Due to trade restriction for a customer we got the components for an end product and had to put the signage on it, and assemble one or two items to fit the legal definition of "Made in the USA" before it could be sold here. All the rest of it came from places we could not accept. It cost more to ship us the components and assemble the final few pieces than it did to build it from individual components...and we got to put a happy little sticker on it that said: "Made in the USA".

But go ahead an accuse folks of sucking that chinese dick.

It's just marketing. That's all. We've passed the bridge to where we make anything except righteous indignation and pollution. We are a consumptive society who's main economical driver is service.

Your little penny makes a big difference on the home front- but screw Americans- you don't care
And to answer BB- at least some Americans made some money through final assembly and putting on the sticker. If we don't support ourselves- who will ?
Damn sure won't be the illegal building your shitty tract home for 1/2 wages.
