    Default Tundra start up smoke

18 Tundra 5.7 52,000 miles. Started it this afternoon after sitting since yesterday and a large blue cloud came out of the tailpipe. First time ever seeing this. Started again no smoke. Looking at Tundra forms I see anything from valve seals, pcv valve to rings. Just curious if anyone else has has this happen.

My tundra has done that once or twice in my 5 years of ownership. Not sure why but if it was more often I would worry.

They factory installed puffs of smoke to remind you of the time they bombed Pearl Harbor and murdered thousands of Americans.

Out of curiosity, have you changed the oil recently?

It's probably the valve seats if it does it daily after it sits overnight. It wont smoke if it only sits a few hours.

Probably no correlation, but I changed the oil in mine, the next morning I noticed the same. Haven’t had it happen since. I’m not worried about it. I check my oil regularly regardless of make, mileage, etc. No issues observed.

Sportin, that’s funny, my grandfather would be appalled to know I have driven two Toyota trucks now.

Karate? Building robots that climb stairs? Cutting off Chinese women's heads after raping them?
Because that's the 3 things they designed leg room for.

Or raping pregnant Chinese women until they aborted. Or ramming a bayonet through a pregnant Chinese abdomen. Incredibly brutal people.

Both Grandfathers served in WWII. Father served in Vietnam. Just checking to see if any one else has seen this issue.
