The fuel points deal Kroger, Harris Teeter, and the rest of the stores under that umbrella offer is really nice. If any of you shop at those two stores and aren't taking advantage of it, look into it.
You get $0.10 off per gallon up to 35 gallons for every $100 you spend. They're always running deals on that give you anywhere from 2x - 4x the points for gift cards or shopping on the weekends. Buy a $25 Amazon or Home Depot gift card and get anywhere from 50-100 points. It's pretty easy to rack up over a thousand points in a month and save more than $35 dollars on 35 gallons. If you end up with 1400 points, you get a $1.00 discount per gallon on 35 gallons for the first 1000 and $0.40 discount per gallon up to 35 gallons on the remaining 400 points. That's $49 dollars in savings that month for something you were already going to do.
It should be real nice for you guys driving Tundras or other gas guzzlers.
