    Bow hunted a few times. Goose hunted a few times. Puddle duck hunted twice and hunted with Pitboss twice. All-in-all a great trip. Sea duck hunting with Pitboss is an experience. Likely the most sporty shooting I have ever done with waterfowl. How the hell the birds are dumb enough to decoy to a big-ass boat in the middle of nowhere and no cover with 30 decoys out in front of you still boggles me. But the experience of the hunt along with the dog work is worth the price of admission.

    Day two. Crazy weather. Mild, windy, rainy, then cold. Birds were everywhere but seemed to be more difficult to get to land. Not in your face like day one.

    Day three. 6 guns. Lots of birds at first light. Slower as the morning progressed. Beautiful scenery. Some bling....and a black duck.

    Group #1 headed back to SC and I had the misfortune of meeting Fish, Simple Man, and Candor for a couple of days with pitboss.

    shooting bows one day and saw this black snake. obviously a mild day for maryland. thought it was cool the way he flattened his head to look big and mean like a cobra. Team Natty Light did not harvest this critter.

    as i have said....the dog work is worth seeing. long retrieves thru decoys (seemed to be this dogs favorite thing--THRU the decoys).

    yup.i agree.ive hunted with jeff for a couple of years and its always a great trip.no cans or brant?i still get christmas cards from jeff,coot,poacher and diamond.got 3 longtails mounted flying together my last trip up.they make beautiful mounts.

    The ones that live on the back side of town call them "puff adders" because they flatten out like that.
    Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
