Prayers needed
About 6 weeks ago my 62 year old mother in law was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer out of the blue. What we thought was issues with her arthritis turned out to be much worse. She is a middle school principle and this was suppost to be her last year before retirement. We begged her to last year but she wanted to get her students and teachers through covid. The short story is after the pet scan it showed in her pancreas, stomach wall, diaphram, and her liver. She just had her third round of chemo on Thursday and facetimed my wife this morning and in the middle of talking to her large clumps of hair started to fall out. I told her from the start of this that when the time came to cut her hair we would cut ours together. Well looks like that will be this weekend. Luckily we only live about 25 mins away and my wife and youngest daughter hopped in the car to haul butt down there. Our biggest concern is she hasn’t been able to really eat in weeks. She is down almost 40 pounds and she was a little woman from the start. I guess what im asking for is prayers for my MIL Nancy and my wife and her younger brother. I think my wife has wrapped her head around loosing her mother sooner than later but im not sure my brother in law has been able to come to terms with it completely. The doctors told us when this all started 1-4 years but this has me worried we might not make it to a year.
