The question was phrased "do you support untrained citizens handguns".

Not "do you support the 2nd amendment rights to possess a handgun without a permit".

The results would be very different with different questions.

In 2018 a Winthrop poll found 70% of residents wanted strong gun laws.

Another democrat that is a strong supporter of 2A legislation is Todd Rutherford. I have been told that he has suggested that the democrats give up on anti 2A control and go for the bad guys.
The Democrats amendments were not bad. You can see who voted against them on the house journal. The yellow bellies didn't want open carry in the chambers or grounds. Like actors in gated communities.

Yeah its all about wording. They don't want stronger gun laws, just laws that'll keep em from the boogie man. People are too stupid to understand laws won't change that. Boogie man don't give a damn about laws.

The are now finally doing some investigative reporting in corruption to save readers. They send emails and face page adds begging for subscribers. Their reports complain of working for the holding company and reduced staff. They have no idea what caused the downfall l.

Trying hard to understand what a poll has to do with it. And as far as that goes, don't know if if I've ever seen a poll that didn't lean democrat.

The bogus poll is to justify the anti gun vote. Under the disguise of the Will of the people.

    1. Screw open carry, but you do you.

    2. How would constitutional carry affect our reciprocity with other states?

    3. I would prefer this effort go towards finding a way to protect against / negate federal bans and restrictions coming down the pike.

No affect on CWP you could still register and pay the government to carry if you want.

The bill should come up today. There are 2 amendments to add CC. If there is a floor vote we will see who the anti gun Reps are.

Currently 31 states allow the open carrying of a handgun without any license or permit

Well then, what are our great representatives waiting on?

Currently 45 states allow some form of open carry. Technically we allow open carry of long guns.

Bamberg's district was barely won by Trump. This kind of vote has to make him nervous.
