Anyone got a line on a breeder for them or for a Korthals Griffon?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

When we were looking for a GWP or Griff I was looking at Shock Kennels for a griff.

Ended up with a GWP from Reece out of a Reece/Ripsnorter line.

Mike's dogs are hard hunters. He breeds and trains Teckels too. I have referred people to him and they've been happy.

Dan Alexander out of South Ga is who we got our pup from. I like him (the pup, and Dan). I dont like most folks, if that helps.

I'd suggest you go to a training day and meet the folks and dogs there. Get in line for a pairing of what you're looking for most in a dog. If you want, I can send you more info in that regard.

Although I have drathaar mutt(GWP) go to a training day and get to know the breed. They’re a different animal than most dogs. My boy will hunt until death, fight anything that attempts to show dominance torwards him, and kills cats for the fun of it. He’s a soft dog at home though. Let’s my kids legit torture him and comes back for more. There are some fine Draht and gwp breeders. Do your homework and you’ll have a great dog. Mine required nothing but obedience training, all of his hunting is natural. Pointing, retrieving, and blood trailing.

Mine killed a coon, a cat, then got in a dog fight all in the same day. The cat worked him over more than the coon or dog did. Now he's hella mad at them all.

It’s funny you say that. The closest mine came to losing was to a mean ole barn cat. It worked him pretty good, still lost but gave it a good fight. Coyotes seem to be the easiest. He got one pheasant hunting and the dang thing was dead before I could ever even see it.
