When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

I've killed everything except Bigfoot and MothMan. I even killed a black panther, in Marion County, with a gator in it's mouth with a deer in it's mouth. Buncha rookies up in here.

Am I seeing a secret peacock killing club unfold in here? Can I get a hat?

Had one walk across a food plot a few years ago while I was turkey hunting. Assumed it was lost from one of the neighbors. Briefly considered cutting it but let it walk. It ended up hanging around for a few days before it disappeared or went home.

I also had an opportunity on one years ago. I had never heard one scream and was quite surprised when she came to the call. Had she been a he, the outcome may have been different.

The real challenge in a successful peacock hunt is the photo. Do you spread the fan and stick you head through the feathers or what?

I've seen people whistle up a quail. Little bird even strutted in the road right in front of us. That should definitely count.

Peacocks only count if you call them in with a trombone.
