    Default Weekend in Savannah

My wife and I decided to get out of the rain and take off to Savannah for the weekend, anyone got suggestions on things to do or places to eat. I believe we are going to do a ghost tour pub crawl and eating at the pink house so far.

Where you staying? The Bohemian on River Street is awesome. Has a bar you can sit outside & watch the ships roll by. The Westin across the river is nice as well

Ghost tour/pub crawl was fun for us. I took pictures flipping off Sherman's headquarters for posterity.

    Hope you have a blast!

Check The Vault for dinner. It's the best restaurant that I found in Savannah.

Alligator Soul and Repeal 33(aka Prohibition) are both great. If you can get a reservation at The Gray, take it. Some of the best food in the U.S.

Head out to Tybee to Bar Hop Sat. Lots of good places with outdoor activities.

The Grey is excellent. Elizabeth on 37th is also recommended.

So is eating at the pink house on par with dining at the pink taco stand?

    Asking for a friend...

Google several links to this place. It might be something you're interested in.

Pink house is good. Last time I went I think I had dinner at garibaldis and it was good too. Ended up in some small alley bar afterwards that I enjoyed also. Maybe congress street up or somethin

Save your money and eat at Carey Hilliards, then cross back to S.C. and stop at the first club on the left side of the road.

Go to the city market area for night life. Plenty of different restaurants and bars to pick from. Only a couple blocks off east Bay Street. Of course there is river street which as a lot of options. Both areas are great for people watching drinking and eating. The wife and I love going to the crab shack on Tyne island for seafood. Good time of year for sitting out side and enjoying a meal. You can take a tour of the cemeteries or the historical city. ( if you don’t know what a pickle back is... go to O’Connell’s Irish Pub on Drayton.)

The wife and I have been living here a year now and really haven’t found a “bad” spot. Some are just better than others.

Chi Bella, we stumbled on the place and it was great. All the rest of the places we ate at were good but no where close to this place.

I do not recommend the Chatham County Jail. Not fun, no good food. Please don't ask me how I know.

Down stairs bar at the pink house is solid...the Grey is awesome but not likely to get in...Stumbling around River and Broughton is good...roof tops down by the river are perfect if you like observing talent. Elizabeth’s is the bomb...Traylor Park is good but crowded. Hotdog stand down next to the Crab Shack is prime.
