    I need to know more about beaming electricity back to earth in the form of microwaves. It would suck to watch your kids get cooked while playing in the front yard if the satellite got its aiming messed up.

    I didn't read it, but they do know that the earth rotates, right? The powerline would look like a backlashed Ambassadeur...

    Maybe you should read it first. Geosynchronous orbit is a thing, and there would be no wires.

    Wireless electricity is right around the corner.. check out the Telsa Coil. Same concept as this and it's well underway
