It originally belonged to Swampknob's great grand-grandfather, who bought it brand new at Beaufort Hardware in 1936. We still have the hang tag. Between his great grand-father, his grandfather, his great uncle, me, and him, it has seen a lot of salt marsh sunrises, deer drives, pointing dogs, dove shoots, and good times had. It is currently with Gunter being restored to factory new condition.

My grandad died when I was nine and my grandmom gave me this gun of his when I was twelve. It was my do-everything shotgun until I was in my twenties. Now it only comes out on rare occasions. I really wish Remington would start making quality shotguns again.

A Henry .22WMR is probably my favorite, no sentimental attachment to it, I bought it used.
But when I was a kid I used to love watching re-runs of the rifleman. I thought that lever gun with the special lever and being able to spin-cock that rifle was the coolest thing ever. So I bought a saddle ring receiver and a large loop lever and put on that Henry. And it took a lot of practice and I bumped my head more than a few times but I can spin that gun around on the lever just as smooth as Lucas McCain used to do on tv.

Post up a video. Closest I’ve ever seen to that in person is SportinWoodies. When he boats a decent bass, he can
spin a Marlboro red on his finger like Doc Holiday did Johnny Ringo in tombstone.

I've got a couple 686s I really like, but one of my 391s is my baby. My swagger kinda kicks up a notch when I have it in my hands.
