The response from the tolerant left should be epic. Prayers to his wife and family.

I heard Mark Stien yesterday saying it had been several days since Rush had been on and thought the worst then. RIP Rushman, gonna miss you

(phone man beat you by a minute....but this thread had some responses....)

My dad listened to Rush 20 years ago. Thats about all I have to add other than conservatives lost a good voice. Godspeed to him.

Sad day indeed. I've listened to him since 1992. Maybe not every day but at least a couple times a week. He will leave a hole in talk radio.

I grew up listening to this man on the AM dial of my dads old station wagon. Rush has certainly helped me past the time driving up and down the Eastern Seaboard the last 12 years.

Rush taught us how to understand conservatism and liberalism. He taught us to think. He will be missed.

God speed to a great patriot. I hate that he had to watch the love of his life die on 11/3. Fox News, Beck, Hannity, Tucker, Rogan(and podcasting in general) and even the Trump presidency would not have succeeded without Rush showing the way.

Mega-dittos from here. I started listening in HS. He taught me to question the things my 23-50 year old liberal teachers had been drilling in my head.

We all gotta go sometime, and make good use of your time while you're here... He did.

Dad built a front porch on our old house in Tennessee in the early 90s. I remember that old silverado playing Rush's show parked out there by the porch. I have listened for years when I had access or time. He definitely helped shape my brain and his children's books are great.

I have read 3 of the 5 books to my kids and we are on #4 now.
