The groundhogs used to be up in Pickens and Oconee Counties, but I shot one a few years back when I had my neighbor’s boy out on a squirrel hunt with me. We talked his dad into skinning it and tossing on his Green Egg. The next day is dad asked me to never make that offer again...

It took our mature beavers 3-4 years to start using our feeders, and even longer to use them in the daylight.

It is a beaver poodle cross called a bedoodle. $8000 each without reproduction papers.

We used to drive the RR tracks in Clemson, shoot them with bows and turn the hides in for extra credit. Only part that sucked was waiting for the pledges to shag arrows or dead groundhogs.

I had to start running traps for my Groundhogs. They were destroying my sunflowers the last 2 years.

Now that I'm looking, does that roof look a little charred? Or is that beaver poo

Haha. We did the same. They were hard to recover unless you stoned one or the arrow didn't go deep enough that he could wriggle off and get in a burrow. They would pull themselves over the fletchings and be gone.
