Default Waterdrop cluck - turkey calling

A lot of the callers at the WTF grand nationals make a cluck that sounds like a waterdrop. Its hard to describe, but I have only heard it made by a gobbler walking thru the hardwoods. It is distinctively different sound from a regular cluck.

Any idea what it means or anyone know how to replicate it? Trying to replicate it with a mouth call.

You can follow a fella named Shane Simpson on social media, and he can help with this.

I think he calls them bubble clucks.

There is absolutely no need to master the "bubble cluck" to kill turkeys on the regular. But, learn it, if you must.

My point was that it won't make you better at killing turkeys. Better on stage...maybe, but not in the woods.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not downing you for wanting to learn different stuff, just don't expect it to put more gobblers in front of the gun barrel. I have hunted with folks that can make every call that a wild turkey is capable of and couldn't go home with a dead turkey from Kroger.
