Saddle lyfe

I knew it was inevitable, but I didn’t see it coming so soon. I will be needing a saddle for the 2021 deer season. School me on the best brand to buy. For the past couple years I have been taking a few kids hunting who’s fathers I am friends with. We have had a grand time with the guns, now they want to dabble in bowhunting. I have several stick/lock-on sets and I believe it will be easier for me to deploy a saddle in the tree with them as opposed to hanging a second lock-on.

So I have getting up the tree handled, just need advice on which saddle to get and which tiny little perch to buy. I’m pretty hip with rope, hardware, and knots.

I’m sure I will be hanging off a tree with a Hoyt in this silly thing come November, but baby steps for now until I get my lingo dialed in...

I have the Method Metal free saddle now, and had the Tethrd Phantom before. I like the Method better.

These companies haven’t quite figured it out yet in my opinion. I might would wait to see what Latitude and Tethrd, etc come out with this year before purchasing.

I really like the Tethrd predator platform. The other platform I tried was the ridge runner.

Sterling Oplux rope, Kong duck, and a modified hawk helium stick with a cam cleat are some other things I’ve settled on.
