Something switched with me a year or two ago and I started to value high quality gear more.

I can tell you that First Lite has the best base layers, which are the most important piece to your “system”.

I’ve returned or sold the Sitka and Kuiu I have tried, but it sounds like others like them. I do have some Kuiu Kutana gaiters that are pretty legit.

I agree about the base layers. I started with First Lite as well. Bought a couple of Sitka pieces last year and have transitioned pretty much everything over, except for my base layers. First Lite is still my go to there.

Oh yeah. I will never not own Corrugate pants. If there’s a better pair of all around pants, somebody inform me.....

Kuiu attack pants. Almost 7000 reviews and a 4.9 average.

Yes they have a good selection of solids. I wear them almost daily. They also come in different lengths.

Thanks I’ll check em out. I wear corrugates almost daily. Have tried a couple a different Sitka styles but don’t like them as much for every day wear.

You ever hear folks bitching about old people’s houses being too cold? No, always too hot. Why? Because old people like to be warm. Sitka has warm figured out.

Good for them, now maybe now they can transition to figuring out a camo pattern that doesn’t look like it was designed by Jackson Pollock using Paint on a computer, while on acid.
