What a beautiful evening to kickoff fire season and the first burn of the season!

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I did not even know you could do a night burn. Looks really cool. Makes me want to drink a beer and tell turkey stories.

Night burn or spot strip a fire as close as you can walk to your last line. Cool pic.

Very nice. Guess you can do that if you aren’t too close to the highway and have some wind. Y’all be careful.

You can get night burn permits or notifications as they want to call them these days if the ventilation rate and night-time dispersion are favorable.

You can also start your burn in the afternoon and then have it "jump" a fire break into your 10 yr long leaf

Same as Sportin, always got the permit in the afternoon and just kept burning until midnight or we finished........
Night burns are far easier to deal with.
