    Default Firearms used in self-defense

This is not a right-wing website but it appears they are tracking and reporting defensive uses of firearms.

I'm told there were 25 mass shootings in April 2023 already. But this site indicates there were also 47 instances of firearm self defense also in the same month.

As with any stat, the definition of "self-defense" or "mass shooting" may not fit the bill per se in every example.

We have already had 2 fatal perp shootings in our County this week where Homeowners defended against life threatening home invasion attempts.

The female barricaded herself in a closet and fired multiple shots into an interloper who didn't think she was serious about shooting him. He FAFO'd. Dead on the scene.

She won't be charged and deserves a medal and a parade.

Maybe SC isn't as bad as once thought. Myrtle Beach and Charleston are two place I try to stay out of if at all possible anyway.

    And Hartsville, definitely Hartsville.

Much of the Pee Dee has a fair to middling criminal element if we're being honest. "Poverty's the cause of crime," the liberals say. Funny how many working poor folks rob nobody, though.
