I have the Presto GranPappy. I really like it for fish and seafood because it only cooks at one temperature (375 degrees) and cannot be adjusted. That is perfect for fried seafood that needs to be golden brown but not over-cooked. I don't fry chicken with it because 375 is too hot for fried chicken.

I have a medium sized stainless steel deep fryer that holds two baskets made by Waring that I bought from
Williams-Sonoma probably 15 years ago and it is the tits for frying shrimp, oysters
fish, chicken. Cooks enough for the whole family in one drop.
I just looked for the link but apparently they don't carry it any longer, its slightly larger and
more commercial looking than what they have on their website
