Arkansas Hunting 8/26-8/28

I was in Arkansas this past weekend and we didnt do to good for hunting the timber at the Bayou Meto. Just wondering if anyone else did any good from SC. I know there was a lot of SC license plates.

6 of us were out there on the 18th thru that Sunday and we didn't do well at all. We hunted Bayou Meto in the Mornings and Fields in the afternoons. 6 guns 13 Ducks Old timer at the gas station said that he had lived there since 1946 and it was the worst season he had ever seen.

yeah thats what some of the locals we talked to said. My buddy that went with us that has been there the past 5 years told us that if it was good there would have been a lot more rigs at the landing.

Two of us limited out in the meto two out of four days Jan. 17-20. We walked in.
