    Default A fitting fair well

Spread Ellie’s ashes in one of our favorite draws this afternoon. I found that dog in Holly Hill in 2004 I believe and couldn’t keep her but was thankful I got to kill wild birds over her for many years. She was “that” dog when it came to killing quail, unstoppable and when she locked up there was no doubt, found 23 coveys in one day by her damn self and that’s no lie. RIP ol gal!

Not a whole lot stings like losing a dog.

    Awful sorry Ed.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I know the feeling. We just put our almost 16 year old Golden down. My wife is going through chemo and popped positive for COVID. It’s been a rough week at the household.
If you give 10 people a bag of gold, someone will complain about how heavy it is!

Great dogs have a way of finding the right owners. Ya'll found each other and did right by each other.
