FBI investigation at two Easley homes, conducting 'authorized law enforcement activity,' officials say

EASLEY, S.C. —
Law enforcement officials conducted investigations at two locations in Pickens County Sunday afternoon into the evening.
Donald Wood, the South Carolina spokesman for the FBI, confirmed to WYFF News 4 that they are conducting an investigation off Boxwood Lane, just outside the Easley city limits.
WYFF News 4 witnessed FBI agents going in and out of a home, as well as several other agencies on scene.
Wood would not elaborate on the investigation, but said they are conducting "authorized law enforcement activity."
Around 6 p.m., Wood confirmed to WYFF News 4 that FBI agents were also on scene at a home along Henry Street in Easley. That is near Baptist Easley Hospital.
WYFF News 4's Taggart Houck reports that members of the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, Pickens County Sheriff's Office SLED were also on scene.
Some law enforcement officers there were also seen going inside. At one point, a robot was also inside the house.
