    Default The future of republicans

Maybe its just me, but I still feel the animosity from Trump's presidency directed at me. Before I'm attacked for feeling a certain way, how about pound sand?

You cant tell me how to feel.

That being said, there is a groundswell of hatred on social media towards anyone who isnt a liberal. MY OPINION is that Trump really screwed up at the end of his tenure. Now, we have pres biden filling the air with words like UNITY when we all know they are out for blood.

What does the future hold for the stereotypical GOP supporter?

Is trump's legacy of judges gonna even the playing field? I think not.

Will senate republicans stick up for conservative beliefs? I think not.

Will the 75million who voted for Trump sit idly by or will "we" be defined by a bunch of far right radicals (my opinion)? I sure hope not.

There HAS TO BE someone in politics to stand guard. MAYBE even a congressman with a (D) behind their name. One can only hope....

    What do you see happening?
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

Today, I'm gonna take the dog for a walk, get some work done, then go home to my family.

Ralph, I think I saw some high 60's and maybe a 70 in the coming forecast. Cheer up.

I'm hoping for a breakup of the 2 party system. Historical Republicans won't beat the democrats again. They will need to reinvent themselves and maybe even create a new party. I do know that if we don't demand and vote for change, nothing new will happen. Outside of maybe on the local level, I personally won't vote for an incumbent again. I don't know of anyone in Congress that deserves to be there. Got to have a reset if you really want change. Change won't happen voting for the same guys over and over, even if they do have a R by their name.

Morning 2th. sorry if I've been part of any of the animosity you feel is directed towards you. I always appreciate an opposing viewpoint on things. Iron sharpens iron.

Liberals paint all conservatives as far right radicals just like conservatives paint all liberals as far left radicals. The majority of each probably have more in common than not.

Its easy to control your base when everyone is scared of the same thing.

Politicians don't get re-elected based on getting things done, they get re-elected on "continuing to fight against" certain things.

You are a racist if you have a different opinion than the left. The only way to " not be labeled and canceled" then you must conform and submit. Kiss the ring.

If you thought the IRS under Obama was abused, you ain't seen shit yet. The "NEW WAR" is on domestic terrorist. Scary part is what is the definition of a domestic terrorist and who is doing the defining?

The conspiracists have harmed the GOP. Once they accept defeat and stop being scared the party will improve. Most know little about policy just snippets from FB. BLM and LGBT are not important in primaries. I think Biden will be so terrible that the pendulum will swing back in the mid-terms. Trump will work to oust RINOs in the primaries. 2024 is a long way away. But there will be enough illegal immigrants to defeat any GOP runner. Bush was a disaster that will live forever as will the standard of living for middle America.

I’m glad I can’t stand either party or the extreme nuts on either side.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Trump polices has housing booming. Demand is stronger than supply on most building materials. Why are you angry with Trump and Capitalism?

Harmed the GOP in whose eyes? Fellow Republicans? Swing voters? Democrats?

If what you've asserted is true, the GOP should be just fine in four years. If the party isn't redeemed and successful in four years, who in our midst will we blame next?

I think the MSM has greatly overstated the threat of Q, etc, and WN/WS because it is in their party's best interest to do so. A fair-minded person could see that the hard left has done more damage to America in the last eight years than the hard right. So, why hasn't Antifa and BLM violence and destruction damaged the Democrats?

Confrom and Submit brother it will make for an easier life...................... that's that attitude of 95 % of the people who claim to "care " about our country. I've said it before and I'll say it again Americans will be led into Socialism/Communism not by force, but willingly and submissively like a admonished dog. I don't condone violence but we can't accept what's happening to our nation in silence. Let your voice be heard

I felt like Joe's speech yesterday was pandering to his crowd and inciting more hate whitey speech. When one of your goals as the most powerful man in the world is to defeat white supremacy there are problems. While i believe every man makes his own way in this country no matter their race Joe is being what he's always been-a career politician that's playing to whatever crowd holds the power at that time. Ol Mitch is a master at this.

Every social or religious movement gradually falls from grace in the public eye. The koo klukker popularity of the 1920's, McCarthyism, the Moral Majority, etc... Part of it is public weariness of the constant harping and preaching. The other part is folks begin to see the threat was always overblown. IMO, wokedom will wind up the same way. It may not happen soon, but it will happen.
