    Hunting for me is a tradition. Hard to feel traditional holding a light, plastic, camo clad, cerakoted, rob roberts, inertia driven gun.

    They are nice. There I said it again. Y’all can have them...

    I have a Beretta and a Benelli I like them both. The Beretta fits me better so I use it more but the Benelli is a nice gun.

    No hate for the Benellis and I think they have their place. But, a smooth shooting gun they are not.

    I have never looked at Benelli as "nice". Even my original M1 HK tax stamped gun. Just the best tool for the job. I have some Beretta's that would qualify as nice though. Love the feel of them, too. They just don't offer the reliability that goes along with killing ducks for weeks at a time between cleanings. I wouldn't use one as a push pole or paddle, but have with Benelli's and will again. Cool? How does that even enter in? Will you catch hell for not holding up your end of the draw because your gun failed again? You bet. There are loads of cheap 870's out there that will not fail you. Cool has nothing to do with it...
