Increased plant spacing promotes stronger stalks and lower ear height.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

I planted dwarf corn aka lebanese corn one year late or some such and it didn't work. The coons and squirrels wouldn't eat it. Hope this helps.

We planted some “short” corn variety early summer. It didn’t make worth a shit, but I can tell you it isn’t more than 3 feet tall. I’ll have to look next time I’m at the farm, I still have some in the freezer.

The round up ready I bought from southern states made fairly well, except it’s damn near 7 foot tall and my ears are 15-20 inches above the waterline. But like cat daddy stated above, spacing could help shorten it.

Would dwarf have been better planted earlier? Or would you say heck with it and plant the round up ready?
A fish bites 2 times a day, right before I get to the water, and as soon as my boat gets back on the trailer.

All history aside, that’s the funniest reply I’ve seen in a long time. Well played...

The more I think about it, the funnier this is. Probably the best one liner I can remember reading.

    Bravo. You win.
