I still have 2 brownings. The other 2 I had got stolen. They work fine running on about 5 years old. I have 6 of the 29.99 wildgame innovations cameras and I like them better than any camera I've ever bought. Mainly because they are cheap, have good battery life, and take good pictures.

its interesting to hear a camera guy like you comment on this. Its important stuff.

Each camera is different. megapixels. trigger speed. etc. if you know a camera, you will know, from the specs listed on the box, what kind of picture to expect.

and...shockingly, cheap cameras use, well, cheap cameras.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

    Loggers don’t even steal Brownings
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

I have had dozens of Brownings. I consider them a B- product. Some have lasted 5 years and some haven't. Decent quality photos and decent battery life. I have probably tried another 6-8 brands- Primos, Moutrie, Leaf River (remember those?), Cabela's, Cuddeback, Simmons, Spypoint, etc. None of them have been great and several have absolutely sucked (Spypoint). I just got my first Reconyx and am very optimistic. Running 10-15 cameras could get pricey though!

It seems all the brands that perform well mass produce the next batch/year and quality goes down hill. I am curious how the new batch of tactcams will perform.

I hate to hear this about the newer brownings. I’ve had a browning cell cam for about five years, and it has great battery life, works great, and the way they have the cell plan set up is easy-peasy. Image quality isn’t the best unless it the perfect conditions...which ain’t often...but I’m not looking to print and frame the pics. I just want to know the deer was there snd what it looks like. Was going to invest in a couple more. I guess I’ll be shopping around again.

    This^^

I have 4 Browning cams that have been out in the woods for 3+ years now. Battery life and pics have been good. But all were bought when the Browning cams were getting good reviews.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-
