    Local oyster shells don’t look as pretty, but they taste better than any gulf oyster I’ve ever had. Used small muffin pans in place of the shells for a Rockefeller that’s good. Sauté onion, garlic, and spinach in bacon grease or butter. Put a spoonful over 3-4 oysters, add Panko and Parmesan and bake. Delish and simple.

    Picked up two bushels from Flowers and steamed 'em last night. Some neighbors that came by had never seen clusters before. They had only seen large selects. They put in an order for the next time I go down. Have enough left over to put together an oyster stew or pie today. Havn't decided yet.
