    Coots as far as the eye can see, and a few Canvas backs. Boy anybody got a spare coot call they mail out here

    Got a few recipes I’ll eat them quick like.
    Breast em out and cook them like you would a steak in a cast iron pan. I usually will add butter and garlic in with them and keep spooning the liquid over top of them till med rare.

    You don't need a coot call- dip net a few and tie em up in the boat

    This man knows what’s up....first time I had coot nobody told me what it was...if they hadn’t I would still think it was duck....I will always shoot my 15 if the opportunity presents itself

    Cheapest blackberry wine you can find-- marinate overnight
    S&P then skewer
    Grill to medium rare
    Coot kabobs are the shizzle

    I've cooked coot and fed it to other hunters who didn't know what it was and until I told them thought it was duck.
