Little piece of property I own in Bamberg county... is this someone’s pet or is that a tracking collar?

Looks like an old DC 30/40 tracking collar to me but idk. There are 3-4, maybe more, running around between Belton and Honea Path with dog collars on. I scooped one up out of the road at my ol ladys old place in HP that had a pink collar on it. There was another that we saw frequently that had an orange one on.

Looks like cube steak and burger to me.
Probably could hold out one hand with some feed and a hammer in the other.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I killed one in Clemson about 5 years ago with a orange dog collar on her. It was swollen up and nasty around the collar.

This one wouldn’t leave me alone yesterday.
Three things that should never be pets, deer, snakes and gators.
Spiders too, SCHF. I could see someone wearing that bling around their grunt tube lanyard.

The rule at my house is no pets that can become food. Hate to disappoint my kid if comes asking where his pet rabbit went.
Collared deer, uncollared deer, uncollared dogs, collared dogs, they all get the same treatment on hunting land. No quarter granted.

aw geez, here we go
If a hunter shoots my dog I will make it my life’s mission to make sure that person loses its job/business, is criminally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, tie it up in civil litigation for years, and shamed in the court of public opinion for the rest of its life.

I was involved in a lawsuit over that very scenario. It was ugly and expensive for both sides. The club lost its lease over it.

Just curious, why is it the land owners fault that someone else can’t provide the proper fencing to keep their dogs on their own property? I’d never shoot a dog that wasn’t aggressive towards me but I don’t understand this argument.
