When did it become the norm that the QB has to name the G.M. and head coach of a team?
So he wants out of Houston because they did not include him on getting these people. Does he really think he owns the team and can hire who HE wants now?

while I agree with your premise, that is not exactly what happened. They pandered to him and told him he would be involved in the process proactively, and then didn't do it. That's the issue.

It’s been the norm in the NBA for years.

No surprise and another reason I don’t watch pro sports.

Who watches the NFL ??? Same organization that put a Dreasjon Reed's name on a helmet in memoriam for being killed by police. The idiot videoed himself on FB driving down the street indiscriminately shooting into homes at night, then when police caught up with him he ran streaming the chase on facebook live and said i'm bout to start shooting some cops and got popped and now is being hailed a hero with his name plastered on their helmets, the NFL sucks ............

It was reported through various news outlets, I saw it linked somewhere last week. I'm no fan of the approach, just passing along why allegedly he hasn't been happy.

If he's not happy being a worker and wants to become an owner, maybe he should pull a Michael Jordan and buy a team.

That's when you reach tier 1 level...aka the owner.

You guys are missing what I think to be the real point. Just take a step back and curb your inclination to bash him for a sec die to hatred for all things Clemson. I don't even watch NFL and I know these to be true as reported by folks who don't report until they have the facts...

He's been getting beat around since he got there. DW4 had one of the best seasons of all the NFL QBs and his team still only wins 4 games? His play alone is the one thing numerous teams are missing that makes the difference between decent teams and great teams. His excellent play masks just how horrid that team is.

On the cusp of trying to point the team in the right direction with a new coach hire, the owner telling him they'd involve/ engage DW4 on their search for a new coach, then not, was just the final straw.

Plus, in case y'all didn't notice from his days in Pickens County man's a winner. He wants to go somewhere to win. Unless some kinda miracle happens that ain't in the cards for the Texans anytime soon.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

He’s a one-dimensional pocket passer. Why would he think anyone gives a shit about his thoughts or opinions?

I see you and ECU have the same football IQ. I’m guessing they may give a shit what he thinks by making him their franchise QB and paying him 157 Million dollars. I could be wrong though.

During a press conference at the height of his career at Clemson, a point in time when everyone was kissing his taint and telling him how great he was (and make no mistake, great he was), Watson expressed anger and frustration that he was being referred to as a “dual-threat” quarterback. He specifically said that calling him a dual-threat QB was not only completely lazy on the part of the media and fans, it was RACIST. His head was so far up his own ass that he felt the world needed to create new and interesting adjectives to describe what he was (and still is today)...a dual-threat quarterback.

He was and is amazing athlete. But I’m not one to agitate anyone’s racial sensitivities. So I make sure to call him a “one-dimentional pocket passer” so if he reads this he’ll know I think of him just like I would any basic quarterback. Even a “deceptively fast” white quarterback

    He’s a bit of a cu*t tho.

He’s used to winning so losing sucks. The Texans told him one thing then did something totally opposite. Just do a little reading and it’s well documented.

    This

It started when they traded his (and the NFL’s) best WR for a damn washed up RB

He has taken a beating like Rocky Balboa since he has been then and kept his mouth shut

IT is time to bitch and moan

But then again he is playing for a damn USuC family, what do you expect.

Wish he would end up in NE to be honest

Winning is not in the DNA.
