    Default White dove

Saw a true white dove in a group of about 100 regular grey doves today. First one I’ve ever seen in our field. Looked to have just a couple grey feather on the tips of its wings. Acted just like all the others so I’d assume it was a true wild one.

Just curious how many of y’all have ever seen one and how common they are?

Never seen one, pretty cool. Reckon he is pretty slick at survival.

I killed this one, but it was half way across the world.

Never seen one here. In over 45 years of hunting...

    Cool that you saw one!

Kquinn saw it with me. He was 70 yds when we first saw him with no gun uncased. Unfortunately he flushed out and never returned.

Had one come into a corn pile while I was deer hunting once. Came in with 15 normal looking morning doves. It was not solid white but probably 85% white.

I have only seen 2 white mourning doves out of several grillion regular, so pretty rare I think. Cool sighting!

Isn’t that one of the magnetic bands they use for racing pigeons?
