    Happy New Years!

The traditional food didn't help last year.

    Eating Chinese tomorrow.

I just finished a pan fried ribeye, covered with onions sauteed in butter, and a baked potato with butter and sour cream. Only seasonings used were frwah ground sea salt and fresh ground pepper.

Tomorrow will be collards cooked with smoked jowls, hoppin' johns, pork tenderloin fried in bacon grease, some fried jowls, and cornbread. I may also cook a pot of rutabagas with smoked jowls.

That quote should be more well-known than it is, unfortunately.

Oh, and fah, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah.

    At home already in bed.

We have been very fortunate during 2020. Only complaints we have are for friends and family that weren’t as fortunate. We did what we could to help and will continue to do so.

Started a pig at 4am. We started pulling pork at 6pm. Broke it down for everyone. I am glad I have a wife that can break down a pig as fast if not faster than most grown men. We ate. Kids played. We were home by 10. Little man is passed out. At 12am, Netflix is removing The Office. We are binge watching until we fall asleep. I hope 2021 is as good to us as 2020 was. Hopefully the ones that weren’t that fortunate find peace and fortune in 2021.
