Nice rear brakes. were the pins gummed up or piston stuck? or both?

An average middle aged male driver, not tooted, caliper was fine. I’m sure it stuck a little on the slide pins like a lot of GM’s do because inner pad wore down more but the other side was metal to metal as well. Just not quite this bad.

It got a new caliper and the other side had the slide pins removed, cleaned, and greased.

YES!! I've seen this before only there was no inner rotor surface, just fins. Taurus SHO, young male stoner driver.

Brake job is more than just replacing pads, doesn't matter the mnufacturer.

You would hear and feel it if your rotors got that bad. I did wear my rotors paper thin before years ago. I could feel and hear the metal on metal from the brake pads wearing through completely and then rubbing on the rotor. I was living in Wyoming and felt more like hunting and fishing more than fixing my brakes
