Allegro, that hurts my heart. I remember years ago when bacon wrappers starting finding out about the stuff and using it as a step above dale's.

People get real excited about pork butts and brisket. Don't get me wrong, I do like them. However, I could eat wings and pork/beef ribs every day.

    This!!

Can't make myself spend the dough on a brisket when I can cook pork tenderloins, wings and thighs for pennies on the dollar... And better IMO....

Never tried it, just what he said.

I know the cooking part is right on.

Wings are a staple in my house. Ribs are a treat. My middle son asked me just yesterday if we could have some this week. Never tried my luck on beef ribs though. Nor have a tried to cook a brisket. I do like it though. Pulled pork...I could take it or leave it. It's more the experience cooking it than it is good to eat. It's really the sauce that makes the pulled pork. I do like a good pepper vinegar sauce.

I've really been enjoying the boneless skinless chicken thighs recently. Way more flavor than a breast and almost impossible to overcook unless you're a total idiot.

    Rub or marinate. (Allegro)
    Cook @ 225*-230*
Don't even look at it until 7hrs!
Wrap @ 180* (peach paper with pan)
Done when the probe goes in like butter. (no specific temp)
    Look, son. A yankee.

His age and race doesn't mean he's infallible. Allergro on a brisket? What's next? A secret Dale's/coke combo marinade?

    Good lord.

I'll take the advice of fat boy in Feets video link (who looks like he has become the brisket) over Mr Allegro!
And keep your boneless, skinless, chicken thing shit outta my brisket thread!
I think there is a useless chicken thread somewhere in here....

Boneless skinless thighs on the Blackstone are the tits. Don't cook them, just scare them a little

But bo, he's an old black fella from the low country.

He knows brisket, cancer cures and haint expunging etc. Like McGyver only with a tan and food.
