I shot a deer back in October when it was 61 degrees. I see no reason for me to get up before the buttcrack of dawn and freeze my old ass off to shoot another one.

Perfect for that. A set of thick merino base layers (first lite are my favorite) then a good mid layer under a fanatic set will get you to single digits without a ton of bulk. Not really worth the money if you never leave the Carolinas, but if you hunt the Midwest it’s nice to have. That said I went to Kansas in early November and it never got below 48°...
16 degrees when I got out the truck at 0630.
Was 18 here. We sat until 8:30 or so, and it wasn't too bad. Toes got cold as usual.
Anyone seeing anything? Any luck?
2 small bucks early.

20 in the Pee Dee. Deer were in way out in the middle of cut and bush hogged fields at 8:30 when I was driving around.

Great weather in Blackstock this afternoon but no deer for me or my Dad. One shot at 545 way off in the distance.
