    Default Blue water

When getting after the marlins and stuff and fishing deep, what are the names of some artificial lures that you might actually catch these fish on? asking for a friend....

Bost, Pakula, Black Bart, Mold Craft, and Ilander

Most every spread will have at the very least one or more of these in it.

Uh yeah. Anyone old enough to remember regularly catching tuna off our coast knows good and damn well what Sea Witches will do.

My apologies to the good DR. I misread the OP and didn't pay attention to the "and stuff" part. Thought he was asking for a Marlin specific lure....

Yall carry on with your bad selves.

ETA: Since we're all reminiscing about the good old days and such, I'll add a 3" skirt with an inverted shotgun wad to the list of must haves. Outfished sea witches and cedar plugs all day back when we used to have tuna of the yellow variety.

Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.

I heard that some guys now that are out in the big pond heading back to the hill after a day of pulling rigs for the man in the blue suit keep encrustables in their butt cracks to fight sea sickness, and they're also they're scared of bananas.

You were doing very well with the lingo until you went butt crack.

Add another 20-30 bucks for the hookset depending on what hook you use.
