Default Swapping stock for pistol brace

Alright so I bought a PSA 9mm lower and realized it was a magpul stock and not a brace once I recieved it. It's a staked castle nut. What do I need to do to make this a legal pistol? Any recommended kits for a pistol brace?

There are 2 or 3 braces out there that should fit that tube.

Don’t overthink it. A $30 Shockwave Blade is all you need. It’s a 9mm, you could shoot it with paracord wrapping.

Will any ar tool fit on the castle nut?

I'm assuming the stock buffer tube and a pistol buffer tube are different dimensions?

You don’t need to change the tube for the sba3, sba4 or the MFT battlelink braces. Take off the stock and put the brace on in it’s place. If you go the shockwave route you’re going to have to change the tube.

I also suggest the sba3. I put one on my 5.56 10.5”. I’ve been looking hard at the split fix. Not sure of the legality though.

Not if you go this route.

Shockwave blades are uncomfortable to shoot. Way too many better options out there now.
