    Yes but already starting to turn. If you decide to harvest it cut it off and leave the root/stem

    Going to eat this tonight or tomorrow. Had another one I was watching and my dad called me yesterday and said it was completely gone. Not sure what might have gotten it or if he was looking at the wrong tree.

    That's good from what I've always heard. What ever ate it will spread the spores.

    Any idea what might have eaten it? Only thing I could think is deer or squirrels. On private land about 5’ off the ground.
