14 shot with 1 dead in shooting at SC nightclub, police say; victim is identified

At least two gunmen shot 14 people, killing one, at a nightclub early Saturday morning in Aiken, South Carolina, in what police described as a drive-by shooting.
The shooting occurred at the 7th Lounge at 1695 Richland Ave East shortly before 12:47 a.m., according to a statement by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.
Witnesses told deputies that three people drove up to the club in a light-colored Chevy Tahoe and opened fire with what appeared to be a handgun and a rifle, the sheriff’s office said.
When deputies arrived, they immediately gave aid to the wounded, the office said. Paramedics declared one person dead at the scene.
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 30-year-old Craig Youmans of North Augusta. A shooter struck Youmans in the body with at least one bullet, Coroner Darryl Ables said.
Investigators have not given the motive for the shooting.
“This investigation is still in it preliminary stages and as information becomes available it will be released,” the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office is asking for tips to help find the shooters.
Police said if anyone has any video or information on the shooting suspects to contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at 803-648-6811. Information can also be provided anonymously through Midlands Crime Stoppers by visiting its site or calling 888-274-6372. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest of anyone responsible for the crime, the office said.
Bars in South Carolina are not allowed to serve alcohol after 11 p.m. right now because of an executive order by Gov. Henry McMaster. The restriction is meant to curb gatherings of large crowds at bars to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Many bars now close at 11 p.m.

Henrietta Creech, 77, of the 6700 block of Highway 278,
Barnwell, was pronounced dead at her residence Saturday morning, Nov. 28. Ms. Creech died from a gunshot wound, said Barnwell County Coroner Lloyd Ward.'
The 911 call was made at 2:26 a.m. by a family member who was present at the time of the shooting.
"The caller stated that an SUV drove by and opened fire at the residence," said Ward.
Creech's death is considered a homicide. An autopsy will be performed. The Barnwell County Coroner's Office and Barnwell County Sheriffls Office are investigating the death.
Ward said the Barnwell shooting may be connected to the shooting at the Seventh Lounge in Aiken that took place around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning. That shooting killed a North Augusta man and injured 14 other people, according to WRDW.

Several injured in Camden nightclub shooting

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a nightclub shooting that left several people injured.

The shooting occurred Sunday morning at approximately 2:45 a.m.

Officials say they received 911 calls from a private call on the 700 block of HWY 1 North of Camden.

Upon arrival, KCSO and Highway Patrol found multiple people shot. One of the victims was an armed security guard.

One victim was flown by helicopter from the scene to an area hospital. Another was transported by EMS.

The condition of these victims is unknown at this time.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact KCSO at 803-425-1512. SLED is assisting with the investigation.

It's a one day license that's passed out by DOR.. typically charity or something going on. If it happens they'll send someone in with a clean record. I'm hearing this was more of a bring your own deal.

If you think Aiken and Camden are bad just look up what’s goin on in Chicago or Atlanta. 7y/o shot and killed in Atlanta about a week ago while Christmas shopping. Yet city “leaders” refuse to acknowledge the correlation between the spike in violent crime and defunding/restrictions/mass exodus of LE in those cities.
