Default Prefer Barrel Length 300 Blackout

I have avoided to 300 game until now. What barrel length are you using? Let’s not worry about the differences between pistol or rifle lower. Any length is fair game. This will be suppressed 100% of the time.

This page has a very nice summary of ammo types and barrel lengths for 300 BO

Patrick - a co-worker of mine talked me into building one years ago. I put a Wilson Match Grade Barrel, 300 AAC Blackout, SBR Tactical, 11.3", 1-7 Twist on it and it's crazy accurate. Only pic I could find of it....

I have 10” and love it. Enough to be accurate, and enough rail space. I shoot suppressed 100% of the time as well.

A 10.5" barrel goes very well with an Omega. It ends up about the same length as a non-SBR. It's my stalking gun.

Yes an Omega will be on the end of the barrel.

I plan on going a slightly different route, and building a small PDW. And, yes, I will get it stamped to avoid issues down the road. Planning on a 7 or, at most, 8 inch barrel with a pretty rapid twist.

Rail just on enough to let me screw my SilencerCo Saker 762 on it. I have a spare LaRue RAT stock that I'll put on it with a Law Tactical side folder kit. Top it with a Holosun 507 and MAYBE put a small light on it.. nothing more. Small - my goal is to be able to carry it in a small pack or satchel.

The Streamlight TLR7 is stupid small and throws a serious amount of light.

    I’m running a 9 inch for HD.
