    Many of em, many times.

A well trained dog in the timber is ok.....not necessary, but ok.

A well trained dog in a boat blind is still a wet dog soaking everything.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Poodles are amazingly athletic and pretty. Like an ice skater.

Old story, my Dad was a longtime Ralston Purina employee. Part of his job was to get folks on the " Purina Pro Plan" so, that entailed going out and hunting with various outfitters, guides, dog trainers, breeders and " others" ..

We heard from a couple friends of this dude in Arkansas that used Poodles for retrievers. Cue up an interesting guy by the name of Johnny " Hoot" Gibson. Set up a Snow Goose hunt with him and we were pretty impressed with his Poodles. They did a pretty good job. The white dog blended right in with the decoy spread. We killed a bunch of Geese if my memory serves.

Got in the truck after the hunt and my Dad just grinned and said " Wow." We didn't discuss getting one...

Nice. I shot a banded wood duck from Montezuma NWR, New York in Florence County two years ago, assuming that's where your shoot was.
