Default A Different Spin on Turkey

The wife is a big fan of rotisserie chickens and asked if we could cook the turkey in the same manner. Broke out the Joe-tisserie which happens to fit my XL BGE and off we go. First time trying it with poultry. To the right is a pork roast along for the ride. Finished pics a little later this afternoon...

Good deal, legs crossed and everything.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I suspect that's going to be great. I'm doing a Prime Rib Roast.

Final pic. Apparently the rotisserie cooks very, very evenly as the breast and dark meat temperatures were very close to the same when it was done. I'm used to having the breast temp lag about 20' or so behind the dark meat. Regardless, it was excellent and momma was happy.
