Default Should U of SC be pulling for Clemson to make the playoff?

Let’s say that Clemson loses a game, and is out of the college football playoff. In a year where there are no minimum win totals to qualify for a bowl, most major conference teams are going to get bowl bids. Add to that the excitement of getting a new coach, and surely Gamecock fans would tune in, thus making them an attractive bowl choice. If Clemson has nothing to play for, do they call up the bowl that takes the Cocks and offer to play them? What a way to start the tenure of a new coach.

But Bo, UofSC is in the SEC, and Climp5in has one foot on a banana peel and the other in the $hitt3r. No way it would be a beat down Bo...

Is that what all the fuss is? Clemson scared that they won't make the playoffs*? Sheesh. If they even end up having them, they will be hard put to find supporters of 4 teams that would even think about going. They know tater fans would camp out in line for a week for a chance to stand on the shoulders of a shortened, forfeited, bullshit season* and call themselves tall. Don't sweat it. You are "in"...

If Clemson does get in, the beat down they took last year is going to look mild compared to what happens this time.

They may as well hold the thing in a high school stadium and save some money.

First off, it won't happen. Period. But if Clemp5in misses the playoff, i'd love to see a good ol' fashioned chicken kickin to start of 2021.

Forgot to mention that even in the SEC that a 2 win team will not go to a bowl game.

You obviously haven’t been watching the same football as everyone else. Ohio st ain’t got it this year. Florida being in that list is comical. Clemson can punch their ticket to the Natty if they draw them first round. Bama is the only hiccup in that list and had ole miss had any kind of defense whatsoever, they wouldn’t even be in discussion

Any one of the quarterbacks for those 3 teams would throw 6-8 TD passes against Clemson’s secondary.

Climp5in has a suck ass defense, it wasn't just ND, they couldn't stop shitty Syracuse or BC.

Yeah, he doesn’t want to do that.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Alabama is 3 cuts above Pickens Tech. Probably be a shut out.

Ohio State is a touch better than clem5on, but it will be close.

Florida will kill tatertech.....just not as bad as Alabama.
