Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I finally got my first limit of the year.Took me 5 minutes on public with 8 shots.Water was waist deep filled with cypress knees at 37 degrees today.floated my hat about 3 times accidentally tripping over the knees and had a gash in my waders so I came out the hole with my nuts shaking like a rattle can...but it was worth the wet ride home.

Coot, if you buy a new pair of waders look at the breathables. I didn't believe the hype til I tried em.

    Nice hunt.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

I made the switch this year. Durability test remains to be seen but absolutely a night and day difference between the waders I have now and the neoprene’s I have used my whole life. Will very likely never go back!!!!! No resistance and feel like I can walk for miles.

I had banded breathable for 4 years and 2 years with a pinhole leak in the crotch and it just got worse this year since I stay running through briars and thorns.i bought some frog toggs a while back but finally got to use them today.it feels so weird being dry for once.

    Ended up with 110 over 5 days. Roughly 40% mallards, 40% gadwall, 20% teal/shovelor/speck.

3 guys still at my camp, I drove home today.

I'm headed to IL Sunday for the week. Good luck up there. Weather looks like it'll be right for some good Mallard killin!
