    Default Super Sack of Fertilzer

Saw some at golf course and was wondering where to get it. Anyone know? The closer to Columbia, the better.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Rodgers in Saluda.

Not sure how you plan to unload it but you need decent lift height to fill a hopper from it. And ass to lift it.

Last time I did a sack, use a 5 gallon bucket and filled spreader from there.

That's how I get my custom blended fertilizer from Meherrin Ag. They blend a mixture to match my soil report. I get them to set it in a trailer and I lift it out with my loader (if I'm not going to use it immediately) but I end up filling my spin spreader one 5 gallon bucket at a time. There is no way to pour it or let it out of the bottom without dumping it all at once. It's not a lot more work that emptying 50 lb. bags into the spreader.

    Southern states has some

I usually set the bags on a trailer then lift them
Up with a back hoe they have a slip hole you can empty from the bottom

I usually just cut a hole and pull the sides back then set it on the ground waste is very minimum once you figure out how much to cut.

I scoop up what is on the ground with a shovel and throw it in
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

What is the cost difference vs 50 lb bags?

Probably $100 on triple 19. But let’s you get custom blend to match the needs of the land

This is true. I've bought shelled and cob corn I bulk bags and emptied them into barrels with the hole in the bottom. Never bought fertilizer this way.
