    THIS

Mrs HS has a keen eye. I almost stole their kitchen table but felt like that was a bit gauche.

My family is having a normal one, all of the cousins have had Covid, and so has my Grandad, so it will be normal. I don't blame the people that don't want to be around the elderly, if you get it its a bitch.

Same here. We're hosting 20-30 like we do every year. We are, however, gonna set up some tables on the porch and in the back yard just in case. You know, just to keep the snitches and the Gestapo at bay.

My 79 year old mother has Thanksgiving at her house every year. Was looking forward to it until my millennial niece who is a blm and antifa type started trying to set rules.
It has damn near derailed the whole thing.
We are going but don't know how long I can stay and put up with th family bullshit.

I get the feeling if she changed her mind on it, HS would make sure you had first option LOL..........

Unfortunately my Grandparents are pretty scared of the coronavirus so the big family dinner is no-go this year, just a small lunch with my parents, sister, and her husband.

I’ll be in the rabbit briars until lunch and then most likely a deer stand that afternoon

In the old days Thanksgiving day started with a quail hunt and everyone else waited the meal until the hunters returned. The first time I had to deer hunt on Thanksgiving morning because there were no more quail was a huge disappointment. Still is...........

Mid 80s. Morning hunt was whittled down to a couple of covey's. I remember when we made the switch from Thanksgiving partridge hunts. They just weren't there anymore.

I’ll be at work moving petroleum all over the northeast. My folks are having family for dinner, but no guests this year.

My wife pulled out six totes full of Christmas decorations and left them stacked up in the middle of the living room.

While she has not violated my order of no Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving, she outmaneuvered me over the weekend and will be putting up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving so I don't have to walk around that shit anymore.

I will be heading to the mountains in Brevard. Clan from 3 different states for 2.5 days. My old man says this is nothing to worry about if everyone takes a daily or sometimes thrice daily swig off of his special elixir. Keeps the blood thin and well medicated. Don't approve of their menu but it'll be a good time.
