    Default Pistol Lights

Looking to add a light to my Glock 19. Any suggestions or ones to stay away from? Like to keep it under $200 or so if possible.

I have the TLR-1 HL on my M&P 9. Like it a lot.

Cant go wrong with a Streamlight TLR-1 or Surefire X300. I prefer the Surefire because you can put forward pressure on the switch to get momentary light.

Streamlight is cheaper. Surefire is better quality. I have some from both companies and really can't pick which is the best value. Both companies build some weapon lights with very high lumens ( over 1000 ).. that is bright.

TLR -1 is what I own multiples of ( have one on an AR and it works well).. $150 or less if you shop around.

Depends on if you want a standard size light with a higher output or a more compact size that’s a little
More comfortable to conceal with a little less lumen.

Good thing is on a G19 your holster choices are great.

Compact- Olight pl mini 2 OR stream light tlr7a.

Larger sized light- olight pl2 Valkyrie or tlr1-hl.

Those are my go tos and all are within your budget.

I am using a nightstick TWM850-XL on a glock 17 and have been happy with it. It also seems to be tolerating regular target use as well.
Easy to use paddle switch with momentary and continuous light output options. Plenty of light and have it paired with a safari land OWB holster that accommodates pistol with light.

Once ya narrow your choice down, check to see if your holster choice will accommodate it.

Streamlight TLR7a is my preferred carry light on my G19. I have a TLR-1HL on my G34

I prefer the TLR7 with the new switch design on a Glock 19. On a 17 I run the TLR-1 HL.

To piggy back, I'm looking at the TLR-7A for my G19. Any IWB holster recommendations?

This is one I got, can adjust to carry appendix or another position IWB. I also bought their OWB for hunting/fishing/working on the farm. Both are very comfortable, money well spent. They also don’t do their retention based on the light so if you ever remove the light can use the same holster still.

Yes and believe you can adjust retention as well

I went with 508 Holsters, looks to be high quality. We shall see.
