    Default Rem 700 Makeover

I was kicking around the idea of a new rifle but decided to change up one in the kitty. I bought a 700 ADL in .270 in the early 90's. I came with a Tasco scope which I changed out to a VariX III after one season. A bargain rifle that has killed a ton of deer.

I wanted a new trigger and dropped in a Timney Elite Hunter. Found a deal on a Magpul stock and swapped out the original black plastic one. Looks and feels good, the trigger is awesome.
Pretty happy with the 1st rounds through it at 100yds. The 1st one was all operator with a crappy brace. Fixed that and the next three grouped pretty well with handload 130gr Accubonds a buddy put together. A few clicks on the Leupold and it should be GTG.

Nice job. I’ve got a Swarovski or a Kahles scope I may be freeing up that would really add some justice in you’re interested.

I'd say you are good, no need to drop any more cash- many a full custom won't shoot that well in most hands.
