Good damn luck!....Shot my 1 and only jack rabbit about 15 years ago pushing a cattail slough in ND for pheasants. Federal No. 5 high brass lead. 12 guage. Pattern covered him 3 times kicking up dust running across cut sunflowers at 25-30 yards. And he never let up. I couldn't believe my eyes. Watched him run through a fencerow and keep going. We were almost back to the truck and the buddy who stayed at the truck while we hit the few little cattail pockets said that rabbit piled up in the other field. Sure enough he had crossed a little knoll and was piled up dead after about 300 yards. Like tracking a dog run deer with buckshot!!!
