Picking up a dog there after Thanksgiving and will stay the night. Any restaurant recommendations while we are there?

What kind of dog? And I agree with Woodiewacker.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-
I drive hundreds of miles out of the way to avoid that shithole every year. Have them meet you at the first Cabelas SE of the city (I forget the town) and be done with it. Good luck with your new cat.
Rock creek?
Drive that far for a mile or more? The local dog shelter is closer.
Good luck with the new hound. Interesting breed.
At the risk of being redundant, I'd avoid the hell out of that shit hole and have them meet me somewhere.

I’m not driving and will be there less than 24hrs. Just looking for a place to grab supper. Thanks turbo.
IMHO, the single best restaurant in the Twin Cities is Manny’s. Rated a top 10 Steak house. It is. Start with a marrow bone appetizer, then Get a bone in Rib-eye. Standard steakhouse sides here. I always get the truffled fries.
St Paul Grill is a solid choice, as is Spoon and Stable.
When I have time for more than one supper, it’s JD Hoyt’s for their incredible pork chops.
Incredible steaks here too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
